This high-end technical parka is part of what Columbia calls their Interchange System line of outerwear. All the pieces fit and attach and detach - depending on the layering you need for whatever activity you are doing. The shell is water resistant with a zip-in microfleece liner and removable, stowable hood. It is constructed from a water resistant shell made of nylon Hydra Cloth and a lining of polyester and nylon mesh. Then it is topped off with a removable liner made of polyester 250g microfleece.
This parka is made for moderately cool weather to cold snowy conditions so it fits perfectly in our genre of apparel products that serve as 'equipment'. Just be forewarned that when your buddies see you with this parka, they are going to want you to get them one for Christmas!
